Borussia Monchengladbach has lost five of five matches so far, and as a consequence the reputable coach Rene Favre quit. According to the club vice president, the club did not want him to leave, but it did happen and now the club has recruited internally and at the moment the coach is Andre Schubert. We have to see how this will affect the team. Today the defenders Stranzl and Jantschke are unavailable. This could mean that Alvaro Dominguez might get his first minutes on the field this season, but he has been out for long so I expect he will start on the bench. A couple of players, winger Herrmann and defensive midfielder Schutz, are both potentially back from injuries.

Augsburg finally got a win against Hannover in the last match, and they have now four points in five matches. We have to see if this is the start of a more positive trend for the club, or if they continue as before (performing ok, but just almost managing to convert and win). They are probably happy with the players Baier (midfield), Bobadilla (wing), and Caiuby being back now. If they all will start I have my doubts about, but Baier and Bobadilla should be two players they want out on the field as soon as possible! In other team news, the midfielder Esswein and striker Werner are both doubtful.

I will be betting against Borussia Monchengladbach here, they have struggled so far and the exit of coach Favre came as a shock. Augsburg has played well and finally got a win in the previous match.
