Dortmund got off to a lousy start this Bundesliga campaign, but now they’re back to winning ways! After 20 Bundesliga matches so far this season Dortmund is 11 points ahead of Hamburg SV. HSV looks to be the mid table team we thought they'd be this season, but the ball is round, and this is a special game. Read on, the predictions of this preview might surprise you.

The form table says four straight Bundesliga wins for Dortmund. At home they are 5-2-2 so far this Bundesliga season. Hamburg SV (HSV) is 2-4-4 away! Form wise they’re 1-1-1 after the winter break. The reverse fixture between the two sides this season ended 3-2 in Favor of Hamburg SV. Dortmund was however the better side in that match. The last two Bundesliga games at home against HSV have yielded two goal superiority wins for Dortmund.
