DORTMUND V NURNBERG : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1x2

After a stunning 4-2 win at Zenit in the Champions league, it is hard to imagine it was the same Dortmund (13-3-6) who had folded to a 3-0 loss at struggling Hamburg in the league last week. There are certainly consistency issues for Dortmund, who prior to Hamburg had won their three league games. It must be disheartening to see Bayern a full twenty points ahead, but to secure a Champions league berth for next season these bread and butter league matches need to be won. Nurnberg (4-11-7) will offer no easy test, as just one defeat (to Bayern) in eight suggests. Still needing points to pull away from the relegation zone, following a very poor start to the season, Nurnberg will be hoping the bad Dortmund show up. With no wins in the last ten competitive meetings with Dortmund, Nurnberg may just fancy their chances of an upset to change that stat here. Reus is suspended for Dortmund, joining Subotic, Bender, Gundogan and Blaszczkowski who are unavailable injured. Chandler and Nilsson both regular defenders miss out for Nurnberg, along with striker Ginczek.

With Dortmund so hard to predict in Bundesliga over the past two months odds of 1.25 make no appeal for betting purposes. Nurnberg have been on a very good run of form, and if Dortmund are less than 100% focussed (which has happened plenty of late), then they can claim a very good point.
