E.FRANKFURT V HAMBURG : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Both sides won their midweek cup matches against lower opposition, and Frankfurts form has picked up well since a tricky start. A 1-1 draw in Stuttgart the latest point gained, and it could easily have been all three on balance of play. At home though they have lost both league games, the fact these games were against Bayern and Dortmund, and they performed well in both deserves credit though. Right winger Aigner has been impressive, and is a real threat to any opposition. Schwegler is the only injury concern of note for the hosts. Frankfurt won this fixture home and away last year.

Hamburg have had a ropey start with only four points, and suffered a 2-0 home loss to local rivals Bremen last week with no excuses in a timid display. Diekmeier and Rincon are the most notable injury losses for the game, but this side really should be doing better and coach Van Marwijk must be a worried man.
