Bayern Munich have made a perfect start to the season with seven wins from as many matches. They are scoring at average of three goals per game and have conceded just twice this season to date. Munich were runners-up to Borussia Dortmund in both the league and Cup last season but are now playing at a higher level. Dusseldorf finished third in Bundesliga 2 last season and have made a solid start this year with just one deafest in seven matches.

Munich have the nucleus of the German national team in their side, in addition to Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery who play for Holland and France respectively.
