HANNOVER 96 V BAYERN MUNICH PREDICTIONS

Hannover still have an outside chance at a European spot if they can put a strong run together to end the season.  Bayern have the title won already and have bigger games in the Champions League coming up.

Hannover are 10^th in the Bundesliga with 38 points from 29 matches which leaves them 4 points off a Europa League place.  Their recent form has been quite poor with just 1 win in their last 5 matches and they’ll need to put a run of wins together if they want to have any chance of moving up the table.

Bayern have already clinched the title thanks to a 20 point lead at the top of the table over rivals Borussia Dortmund.  They have a Champions League semi final match coming up midweek against Barcelona and will have their focus on that.  Bayern are a side who like to keep the winning momentum going so they will still want a strong victory here but no doubt some players will be rested for the midweek match.

Hannover have a number of injuries which include midfielder Szabolcs Huszti and defender Mario Eggimann.  Bayern will be without Toni Kroos who is out for the rest of the season and Mario Mandzukic, I’d also expect them to rest a few others.
