Eintracht Frankfurt has won every preseason game including 2-0 in the cup away to Illertissen. They’ve scored plenty of goals, including a 5-1 thumping of Bursaspor.
Karim Matmour (Attacking midfielder) has left the club with a handful of fringe players. Matmour has been replaced by what to me is a clear upgrade in Jan Rosenthal. The club has also brought in the versatile offensive player Joselu, who is pretty decent as well as young goal keeper Wiedwald and Flum (Versatile defender). Bakalorz has been far out on the fringes for Dortmund, he has also moved to Frankfurt in search of game time.
Eintracht Frankfurt looks improved to me. They’ve done some good business this transfer window. I think they will be able to put up a fight for top 5 again.
