Hertha Berlin played 2-2 away to HSV last Bundesliga match day. They were leading 2-1 until the 89^th minute. They were the lesser side on the day and could easily have lost. At home on the Olympiastadion Hertha was very solid in the 2. Bundesliga. They opened their Bundesliga season there with a 6-1 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt also.

Hamburger SV lost 5-1 at home against attack minded Hoffenheim. I must admit I didn’t see that result coming. HSV has plenty to offer going forward on a usual day at the office, but they will have to work hard to improve on their defensive abilities before this game.  They have let in 8 goals in two games, and that’s just not good enough for this team.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hertha let HSV have most of the possession here, then counter them half to death like they did against Eintracht Frankfurt. HSV will of course be wary on this and try to defend better than they have so far.
