Hoffenheim goes into this Bundesliga playoff match against Kaiserslautern with some positive momentum. The away win in Dortmund was solid work. It must be said Dortmund has their eyes on the Webley CHL final coming up, but still; that surely must add some confidence to this crew. Hoffenheim also lost only 2 of their last 7 Bundesliga games. They could have been relegated directly but pulled a rabitt out of their hat. Now, they just got to handle K'Slautern, and they'll be in the top division next season too.

Kaiserslautern had nothing to play for last match day and lost in relatively indifferent manner. For these playoff matches stats are in my opinion not as relevant as in league games. However: The away side only lost four games away all season in 2. Bundesliga and that's pretty solid. They'll need to soak up a lot of pressure tonight I'm sure.
