Ten points in five matches is above expectations for the newly promoted Ingolstadt. The only team that has beaten them big so far is Dortmund, when they lost 4-0. But even in that match Ingolstadt managed to keep up with Dortmund for quite some time, and it was not until they got a bit over-confident and started attacking that they conceded the goals. They have a solid defence and have been effective enough in finishing and earning several points. I expect this will be their game plan for tonight as well. Hartmann is unavailable for this match, but I do not think that will weaken the team that much, and otherwise there are no new injuries or suspensions to report.

Hamburger SV has seven points in five matches. They have been very variable so far. In the first match they were solidly beaten by Bayern Munich, and then in the next match they defeated Stuttgart by counter-attacking. In the third match they lost a pretty even match away to Cologne. The fourth match ended with a 3-0 victory against an out-of-form Borussia Monchengladbach. Last weekend they tied 0-0 at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. This was a match with plenty of chances so that it ended goalless was a surprise, but overall it was even and a draw seemed fair enough. HSV has two doubtful players in defender Ostrzolek and attacked Ilisevic, but I think both may start the match. They finally have the central defenders Djourou and Spahic available, and this should be a good combination in defence! Their midfielder Ekdal did not play the last match, and will pass today as well.

Hamburger SV has played well enough for me to make this match more even than the odds indicate. But Ingolstadt has done well in defence and betting against them with the 1x2 odds we currently have on offer is not interesting, and HSV is not that reliable. But you can get Hamburger SV +0.5 at odds 1.71 with Sportmarket at the moment, and this I find more tempting.
