MAINZ V HERTHA BERLIN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1x2

Mainz (11-4-8) with only one loss in their last nine are one of the form sides in the league, and have pushed themselves into the European qualification picture for sure. The last two weeks have brought particularly pleasing results and performances against top four opposition, and they will be buoyed further by the return of key attacking midfielder Nicolae Muller from suspension. Hertha (10-5-8) are enjoying an excellent season themselves, and are just two points behind Mainz going into the game. Current form isn’t as good though, with three defeats, a draw and two wins in the last six played. They have a good record against Mainz, losing just twice in nineteen meetings so Hertha will be hopeful of getting a result to add to their decent away record (5-3-3) this season. An important trio of midfielders miss out for Hertha in Ben Hatira, Cigerci and Lustenberger to dampen enthusiasm for them somewhat though for this tough looking trip.
