Nurnberg (4-11-8) have won four of their last six to pull themselves out of the relegation zone, and will hope to continue the improvement. Winless prior to the Christmas break it has certainly been a transformation in their fortunes since then. Werder Bremen (6-7-10) sit just three points ahead in the table, but ended a five game winless streak with victory last weekend. Feulner(mid) is an important suspension miss for Nurnberg, with Chandler(def), Hasebe(mid) and Ginczek(str) out injured. Garcia (def) misses out for Bremen.
