SCHALKE V BAYERN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Schalke have won their last four in all competitions, and beat Steau Bucharest easily 3-0 in the midweek champions league game. League form has improved winning their last two games, and they were excellent last week in a 1-0 victory at Mainz. Prince Boateng getting his first goal since his move from Milan, and he has made a difference to the side since his arrival. They are now on seven points from their five games , and will look for a good performance against the giants of Munich to continue their good run. Schalke however have lost the last four meetings against Bayern without scoring a goal, and last year were thrashed 5-0 at home and 4-0 away. Defender Hoogland and top striker Huntelaar are injured for the game.

Bayern continue to be too good for everyone and CSKA Moscow were brushed aside 3-0 in a routine champions league win in midweek. In Bundesliga they have four wins and an away draw at Freiburg. The latest league win came at home to Hannover 2-0 when they cruised to victory. The side is packed with quality throughout, and only a few teams can compete with them, let alone beat them. They won a staggering twenty nine of their thirty four league games last season with just one defeat. They were unbeaten away winning fifteen of the seventeen games. Badstubber and Thiago are out long term, and Gotze and Javier Martinez are also out.

Schalke will come into the game hopeful after recent displays, but this is Bayern Munich coming to town and defeat is the probable outcome.
