SCHALKE V FREIBURG: PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS 1x2
Schalke (7-3-5) safely qualified for the next stage of Champions league midweek, but need to make ground up in Bundesliga to threaten the top four spots. Defeat at fourth placed Gladbach last week leaves an eight point gap to fill. Two upcoming games against struggling sides offers the chance to go into the winter break on the tails. Freiburg (2-5-8) exited the Europa league in midweek, and have lost their last three matches. Third from bottom in Bundesliga, and just two wins all season (both away) means they are in a relegation scrap. Scoring is a real problem, as they are the second lowest scorers in the league. Howedes(def) is suspended for Schalke, with Aogo, Draxler, Hoger(mid) and Huntelaar(str) injured. Freiburg miss Mujdza(def), Schmid, Coquelin, Schuster(mid) and Freis(str).
