Two sides in very good form face each other, as Schalke host Mainz in this Bundesliga game. Schalke (12-4-5) have won five and drew once in their last six, to propel them to fourth in the table. They have a massive week ahead, next midweek a Champions league tie versus Real Madrid, before a visit to Bayern Munich next weekend. Keeping up the good run is a must going into those games, and though this will be no easy game, they should be confident of victory. Mainz (10-3-8) themselves have four wins in their last six, with a draw and just one loss. They are well in contention for Europa places, and so have plenty left to play for themselves. No new injury concerns for either side going into the game, and all is set fair for a cracking match.
