Bremen come here on the back of a great 2-0 win at local rivals Hamburg with striker Petersen getting both goals his first strikes of the season, in a win that was well deserved. They have nine points with three wins and losses so far.  Di Santo is out suspended again, and Ignjovski injured for the visit of Nurnberg. Bremen have the overwhelming edge in this fixture here, although Nurenburg are unbeaten on their last three visits winning two.

Nurnberg surprised many, myself included in coming from behind to get a 1-1 draw at home to Dortmund last week. It was well deserved, though it is their fourth draw of the season and they still seek that first win. Striker Ginczek and Gebhart miss the trip through injury.
