DEN HAAG – PSV EINDHOVEN: PREDICTIONS

Round 1 of Netherlands Eridivise sees 2^nd favourites PSV Eindhoven face a tricky trip to The Hague.

Den Haag are not one of the bigger teams of Netherlands. Despite being from one of the traditional three large Dutch cities, it has not been able to match Ajax, Feyenoord  or PSV in the Eredivisie or in European competition. A couple of cup successes many years ago is all they have to show for their long history. Last season they finished 9^th and I feel that would be considered a success given their budget and squad. Incoming are old boy Ji-Sung Park; Colombian defender Santiago Arias; Midfielder Stijn Schaars; Defender Karim Rekik; Midfielder Adam Maher, Midfielder Florian Jozefzoon and Defender Jeffrey Bruma. Adam Maher is the pick of the signings and could be a special player indeed.
