Two teams that have had a bright start to the season clash at Woudestein tonight. Excelsior started their season by defeating a under par Twente, before following that up with a 2-0 win versus Groningen last match day. The home side sees Arghus (defensive) and Pantic (offensive) return to the squad tonight. On the other half ADO Den Haag has racked up wins against Go Ahead Eagles (3-0 at home) and 2-1 away against a much improved Vitesse. Gehrt and Hevel (both midfielders) return for the visitors on this occasion, but only for the bench.
Last season ADO ended 13 points ahead of Excelsior on the table. I do see them as the better team also this season. Given a poor away win ratio in the Dutch Eresdivisie I shy away from that. I rather go for the over 2.5 as three of the four combined matches of these two so far this season has gone over 2.5. I also factor in all the goals between the two sides since and including 2014. They have played four matches between them. All four has gone over 3.5.
