FEYENOORD V AJAX : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1x2
A fierce encounter can be expected on and off the field as old rivals Feyenoord and Ajax meet in Rotterdam this Sunday. Feyenoord (13-6-6) are unbeaten in five games, winning two of them, but remain nine points adrift of Ajax in fourth spot in Eredivisie. A two goal lead was squandered at Twente last week, with a cruel ninety fifth minute goal denying them the three points, but it was a very pleasing display. Ajax (16-6-3) have an unbeaten run of thirteen league games, with eleven of them wins have a six point cushion at the top of the table. Dumped out of the Europa league 6-1 on aggregate by Austrian side Salzburg, highlights the lack of strength in the Dutch league nowadays, though Ajax did fare respectably in the Champions league group stages despite bowing out. Boilesen(def), Schone, Serero(mid) and Fischer(str) are important injury misses for Ajax for this biggest of domestic tests.
Feyenoord at 2.38(11/8)Coral can give their fans bragging rights by getting the win over their old foes in Rotterdam. Ajax have some important injury misses, and should be smarting from a Europa league lesson over two legs. Neither side will need motivating for this one, but Feyenoord have shown enough lately to warrant support in this big game, and push themselves into the Champions league qualifying mix.
