PSV V AJAX : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS
PSV are unbeaten on twelve points and (210) at home with eight scored and none conceded in the league. The Europa league in midweek saw a shock home defeat to Bulgarians Ludogorets, when they were punished for poor finishing after dominating play. Last week in the league PSV drew away 2-2 at Twente, where they came from behind twice to share the spoils. PSV have won ten of the twenty two meetings of the teams at the Philips arena, losing four including last year when Ajax did the double on them. Defender Rekik and current top scorer Wijnaldum are missing with injury for the big game.
Ajax away form (021) has been surprisingly poor in the opening weeks, and it will need to pick up quick if they are to secure a fourth title on the bounce. They sit on eleven points thanks to maximum points gained in the Ajax arena. A midweek champions league drubbing in Barcelona can be excused, though its not great preparation for their biggest league game of the season. Last week they beat league leaders Zwolle 2-1, a match they deserved to win. Sigorsson and De Jong carry a lot of expectation following big name summer departures, but the Ajax side is still maybe the strongest in this league. No injury worries going into this game is a plus for the Amsterdam side. Their will be no Ajax fans at the game due to fears of crowd trouble.
