VITESSE – HERACLES: PREDICTIONS

Two of the second rate sides in Netherlands go head to head in Arnhem, Its Vitesse against Heracles.

Vitesse of Arnhem are not considered one of the bigger sides of the league. Althought they finished a fantastic 4^th last season. However two of Vitesse's most important players, Marco Van Ginkel and Wilfried Bony, were sold. Van Ginkel was player of the year the season before and Bony was the Eredivisie top scorer with 31 goals. Vitesse have already played in Europe managing a 1-1 in Romania.  Plenty of doubts for Vitesse going into this game with starters Kakuta and Havenaar injured while further 1^st eleven players Chanturia and Vijinovic are suspended. Doubtful for the game also are squad members Propper and Tighaoini.

Heracles of Almelo are another side from the mid to lower reaches of the Eridivisie rankings. The last few years they have managed top half finishes but prior to that they could always be found near the relegation places.  The side has no standout players and should not expect more than a midtable finish this season. Two players out for Heracles in starter Davidson with a suspension and Duarte is not match fit.

VITESSE – HERACLES: BETTING TIPS    

Vitesse are drifting in the betting and its no surprise after the injuries and suspensions they have and a tiring Thursday night game in Romania plus travel back. Heracles are not one of the best sides in the league but can trouble Vitesse and especially as they will be fresh. I take Heracles on the handicap here and think they can at least hold the Arnhem men. Heracles +1.25 at 1.57 with bet365.
