Ajax was quite helpless in their first Champions League match against Barcelona. They were cut open time and time again. Since and including 2011 Ajax are 2-1-3 at home in all Champions League matches. This Ajax edition looks to be ever so slightly off the pace compared to the team they’ve had the last couple of seasons. For Ajax Bojan Krkic (Attacking midfielder) is out.
AC Milan on the other hand beat Celtic with a weakened first eleven in their first Champions League match of the season. Since and including 2011 Milan is 2-5-4 away from home in all Champions League matches. De Sciglio (Defender), El Shaarawy (Attacker) and Kaka (Attacking midfielder) are all out still. Influential midfielder Montolivo is in the squad and is expected to play.

Milan is definitely the best side here, and I am not convinced of the Ajax defense. They look a bit shaky!
