Ajax v Celtic predictions and 1x2 betting tips
Ajax have only one point and 0-1-2 so far this Champions League, after losing to Barcelona, drawing against Milan, and then in last CL match two weeks ago losing 2-1 away to Celtic. This time they are playing at home against Celtic, who have three points after the win over Ajax, the other two matches against Barcelona and Milan were lost.
Ajax is one of the teams fighting for the Dutch league title, but so far they are down in 6th place, three points behind number one AZ. Since they lost to Celtic they have tied one and lost one league match, so are not in great form at the moment. Celtic, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their domestic league and have a gap down to second place, so they have the luxury of being able to focus a bit more on the Champions League.
Ajax will be without Moisander, Duarte, and Bojan. Celtic will be without Matthews and Mouyokolo due to injury, while Biton and Brown are suspended. Pukki, Lustig, and Commons are all doubtful.
