Arsenal try to do what no team has done for a long time and that is beat Barcelona heavily at Camp Nou. The 1st leg at Emirates was 2-0 win for Barcelona and you would have to say the tie is over already. Since that win Barcelona have won all 4 matches, scoring 17 goals and conceding 2. They are without Pique for this one and also miss Rafinha and Sandro. Arsenal are falling away from the title chase and were knocked out of the FA cup last week. Add to that the 2-0 loss at home in the 1st leg of UCL and their season is close to ending trophy less again. Since the 1st leg they have won 1, drew 1 and lost 3 matches, conceding 9 goals in that time. They have been losing goals to the likes of Watford and Swansea so have little chance of keeping Barcelona out. Arsenal miss Cech, Koscielny, Oxlade, Ramsey, Rosicky,Wilshire and Cazorla.
Arsenal are without half of their starting eleven but it probably wouldn’t matter if the missing me were all fit and they joined the eleven Wenger picks tonight. Barcelona are on a different level to Arsenal and pretty much every other team on earth. This will be another stroll and Barcelona will take the game 100% serious and dismantle Arsenal again.
