BATE VS BAYERN MUNICH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

BATE are in excellent domestic form as they look to win the Belarus title for the 7^th straight season.  They sit top of the league on 52 points after 23 matches, 4 points ahead of nearest rivals Shakhtyor.  They are undefeated in their last 16 matches in all competitions and their last 5 games have seen 14 goals scored and just 2 conceded.  In  week one of the Champions League they were hugely impressive in an excellent 3-1 win away at Lille, a match they were big outsiders in.

Bayern are storming the Bundesliga this season with a perfect 6 wins out of 6.  They have won every game by at least 2 clear goals, scoring 19 goals and conceding 2.  4 of their 6 matches have gone over 2.5 Goals.  In the first Champions League game they beat Valencia 2-1 at home.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

BATE have an excellent team that is almost full of Belarusian players, they only have 3 foreigners in their whole squad of 30.  Their top scorer this year has been a 23 year old midfielder Renan Bressan, who has 8 goals in 17 starts.  The tall midfielder was born in Brazil but represents Belarus and looks a very exciting player.

Bayern are looking utterly dominant this year having strengthened an already excellent team from last season.   Their CL final loss to Chelsea would have hurt the club and they have spared no expense this summer in improving the team, spending a huge €70m.  Their marque signing is surprisingly a defence midfielder, but he is one of the best in the World in Javi Martinez, who cost €40m from Athletic Bilbao.

Bayern have no areas of the team you would call a weakness and when you see a player the quality of Mario Gomez is yet to make an appearance this season you realise the potential they have this season. 

BATE VS BAYERN MUNICH PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

We see Bayern as very strong favourites for this match and I can’t see anything other than a victory for them.  Their odds may seem small but I think 888sport is still being generous in offering 1.4 for an away win and will be backing that.

BATE VS BAYERN MUNICH PREDICTIONS: ASIAN HANDICAP PREVIEW

As I discussed above, Bayern have won every league match by at least 2 clear goals so they AH of Bayern -1.25 isn’t too much of a deterrent.  You will need them to win by 2 or more goals to win the bet and if they win by 1 you will lose half your bet.

I still think this offers value for a team in such excellent form as Bayern and will be backing them at 1.86 with Ladbrokes.

Despite 3 of BATE’s last 5 games being over along with 3 of Bayerns I feel there is some value in Under 2.5 goals in the market.
