Bayer Leverkusen travel to Belarus eager for the win that could put one foot of theirs into the knockout stages. BATE wrapped up their league with games to spare. However they have only played 1 match since the 8th November. A 5-0 rout in the cup final against Granit. They have so far won 1 game and lost 3. They famously beat Roma at home in a cracker 3-2 but have been beaten soundly by Leverkusen in Germany and then Barce twice without troubling them. They miss Rodionov and Stasevich for this one. Bayer are in 3rd after 1 win and 1 draw plus 2 defeats. They have drew with Roma at home in a 4-4 crazy match. Also losses to Barce and and in Rome. They must hope to win here and then Roma lose in Spain for some hope. They must do it without Lars Bender, Kyriakos Papadopoulos,Omer Toprak and Stefan Kiessling.
A few out for the Germans but I believe they have more than enough for BATE. The Belarus Champions caught Roma cold but that was a freak one off. I think they will lose remaining games and Leverkusen have this with ease.
