BAYERN MUNICH V ARSENAL PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Bayern are in complete control of this tie after an excellent performance in London, can Arsenal fight back to make a game of it or will Bayern continue with their dominance?

Arsenal were confident they could match this excellent Bayern team at home but within 10 minutes they were already behind and chasing the tie.  Young midfielder Toni Kroos opened the scoring after 7 minutes and Bayern then doubled their lead in the 21^st minute through Thomas Muller and it already looked like the tie was over after just 1/9^th of it gone.  Arsenal fought back well in the second half and were in the ascendency when Lucas Podolski pulled a goal back for them but Bayern killed the game off with a late goal by Mario Mandzukic to make it 3-1.

Bayern have been almost unbeatable all season and have won 16 straight games in all competitions.  They are going to easily win back the Bundesliga title and they are one of the favourites in the Champions League now. For Bayern Jerome Boateng and Bastian Schweinsteiger is suspended. Wing ace Franck Ribery is out as well due to an injury. 

Arsenal are just played for pride here but it’ll be difficult for them to take anything from the match with Bayern in this type of form. It also doesn' help that midfield dynamo Jack Wilshire sits out. Lukas Podolski will also have to sit out.
