BAYERN MUNICH V BATE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Bayern are top of the Bundesliga with 38 points from 15 games, winning 12, drawing 2 and losing 1.  They have scored 2.73 goals per game while conceding just 0.4 for a goal difference of +35.  Their recent form has seen 2 wins and 3 draws in all competitions with an aggregate score of 10-3.  In the Champions League they are fighting for top spot in the group with Valencia, with both teams having won 3 and drawn 1.

BATE have finished their domestic season and are again winners of the Belarus Premier League for the 7^th straight year.  They finished with 68 points from 30 games, winning 21, drawing 5 and losing 4.  This game them a 7 point lead over the 2^nd place finishers Shakhtyor.  In the Champions League BATE are currently in 3^rd place with 6 points from 5 games and have guaranteed themselves 3^rd place and a spot in the Europa League knockout stage.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Bayern had their biggest domestic game of the season at the weekend when they hosted Borussia Dortmund.  Despite controlling most of the game, Bayern were unable to hold on for a win and the game ended 1-1.  It still leaves them 8 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and they are looking certainties to win back the title that Dortmund has held for the past two seasons.

Bayern won’t be taking this game lightly as they know they need to beat BATE in order to top the group ahead of Valencia.  This can be the difference between facing a team like Barcelona in the next round or getting an easier draw so they won’t want any slipups.

BATE are already guaranteed 3^rd place thanks to a better head to head record than Lille so they have nothing to play for.  They will still want to give a good account of themselves after losing 3 straight matches in the Champions League ahead of a long winter break for them.

 

BAYERN MUNICH V BATE PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Bayern are huge favourites here and I can’t see anything other than a comfortable win.  They are on a different level to BATE and are the only side who have something to play for.

The odds may be tiny but I’d still back a Bayern win at 1.13 with BetVictor.

The Asian Handicap market seems much more interesting from a betting standpoint.  Here you can back Bayern -2.5, which means they need to win by at least 3 clear goals for the bet to win.

Back Bayern -2.5 with Ladbrokes who are offering a very nice 1.90.

I think this match has plenty of goals in it, with Bayern able to score plenty themselves.  Instead of the normal 2.5 goal market I’m going to go to the 3.5 goal market where I think there is more value.

Stan James are offering 1.91 on Over 3.5 Goals which I think is too long.
