Real Madrid have had the worst league start imaginable, dropping points in 3 out of the 4 games they have played and they now sit 8 points behind rivals Barcelona.  Only one win in 4 games is almost unknown for a Madrid side that hadn’t lost a game at all in la liga in 2012, stretching over 23 games home and away.

Manchester City are undefeated so far in their defence of the EPL title.  They have won both their home matches but have only managed two away draws so far and are two points behind leaders Chelsea.
