Chelsea are playing superbly at the moment and Jose Mourinho has them purring. Chelsea look the real deal to me and only Man City can challenge them in England and I doubt wether the eventually will. Diego Costa is out here for Chelsea but they have sufficient back up to go into this game as massive favourites. Chelsea are unbeaten in 13 games now in a run that goes way back to Champions League semifinal of last year in April. A run that spans 10 wins and 3 draws. Chelsea has played some wonderful attacking football and Maribor must be worried going into this one. The Slovenians have done excellently so far with two draws (Sporting Lisbon and Schalke) to give themselves a fighting chance.
I think Chelsea can seal a qualification berth after 2 wins over Maribor in the next 2 matches. The Slovenians are a dour bunch and will fight hard here. I don’t see Chelsea over committing themselves as Mourinho could rotate for this one. A win for sure and I cant see the limited Maribor scoring. Odds on this one will drop on this one for me.
