CSKA MOSCOW V MANCHESTER CITY: PREDICTIONS
CSKA Moscow have not lived up to their usual high standards with an average start to domestic and European seasons. Sitting in 6th in Russia and way off the pace and struggling a little in Champions League with 1 win from 2. Man City too are evolving under Pelligrini are not firing on all cylinders just yet but have look amazing in patches. Key men out for both sides, as Vincent Kompany sits out for City (with DiMichelis and Rodwell out also) while Igor Akinfeev, Alan Dzagoev and Aleksandrs Cauna miss out. Huge problem for CSKA who give up home advantage too. Stadium Khimki is being used while Luhzniki is renovated.
Huge problems for CSKA who are struggling big time, which is unusual for them. Key men out for the Russians who are difficult to replace. I feel Manchester City are starting to look a real team and a few more games in and they will be a real force. I take City to grab a win in Russia.
