Dortmund heads into this Champions League tie 4-2 up from the first leg that was played in Russia. Since then Zenit St. Petersburg has fired Spaletti as head coach. The new man in charge will be Andre Villas-Boas. However, he has not formally taken over yet. Sergei Semak will be shouting commands from the dugout.

Dortmund is still without attacking midfielders Reus and long term absentee Blaszczykowski . Reus could make the game, but it’s unlikely. Midfielders Gundogan and Bender sit out. So does Subotic (Central Defender). Mkhitaryan (Attacking midfielder) is also a doubt.

Zenit is without Ryazantsev (Attacking Midfielder) who is cup tied. Arshavin (Also an attacking midfielder) is injured.

Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp, although depleted of some of his starters has the luxury of being able to sit back and hit this Zenit side on the counter. He can also go for controlling the game should he wish to.
