FK NEFTCHI - SKENDERBEU PREDICTIONS

Azerbaijan faces up to Albania for a place in the next round of Champions League.

FK Neftchi of Baku are the most successful side in Azerbaijan. With eight titles (including the last three in a row) and have also picked up some decent results in European competition to boot. They are the only side from the country to reach a European competition group stage.  With 65 games they have 24 wins, 13 draw and 28 defeats.  Over the last few campaigns there results have gotten better and better and they do know how to get results in Europe now. Key man Nicolas Canales is injured here though and misses out.

Skenderbeu of Albania have won four league titles in all but more importantly have won the last three in a row.  They have been pretty dire in Champions League though, with only 4 matches they have lost 3 and have managed just the 1 goal (in a 1-0 over Debrecen) The other game was a 6-0 aggregate loss to APOEL Nicosia which is not great either.
