JUVENTUS V CELTIC PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Juventus take a commanding 3-0 lead into the second leg of this Champions League last 16 tie and will expect to qualify comfortable.  A goal just 3 minutes into the first leg settled any nerves Juventus had about the trip to Celtic park but for the remainder of the first half they had to soak up a lot of pressure from the home team.  A number of shouts for a penalty for Celtic were duly ignored by the referee and the sense of frustration forced Celtic to push further forward in the hope of an equalizer.  Juventus sat back and defended well then with under 15 minutes to go they doubled their lead with a goal on the break, and rounded out an excellent night’s work with another goal 5 minutes later.  Celtic will feel hard done by as they controlled large chunks of the match but the European experience of Juventus showed through and they were clinical on the night.

It’s an almost impossible ask for Celtic to come and get anything out of the game but you can be sure the players will give 100% throughout and won’t be scared to get forward since there is no pressure on them to get a result.  Juventus should still be far too strong at home but if they decide the match is won before they start then they could be in for a shock from Celtic.

JUVENTUS V CELTIC PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

If Juventus come out and take this match seriously with a full strength team then they should easily win it.  If they are complacent and don’t put their full focus on the match then Celtic could shock them.  Celtic played an excellent formation at home which really imposed them on Juventus 3 at the back system, they just lacked the ability to turn the pressure into goals.

I can’t recommend backing Juventus at such short odds and will be making a small value bet on the outsiders at huge odds.
