MAN CITY V CSKA MOSCOW: TOTAL GOALS PREDICTIONS
Man City seem to be hitting top gear now and with 5 wins from 7 (defeats to Chelsea and Bayern the only blips) they are looking good. With 18 goals scored and 5 conceded in that time they look very good offensively. They were equal to Chelsea before a Joe Hart aberration but were 2nd best by a mile to Bayern but in truth who isn’t? CSKA have been uncharacteristically poor this season. Sitting in 4th but 9 points behind Zenit and struggling in Europe. Joe Hart will sit out as Costel Pantillemon is preferred.
I don’t see CSKA scoring here as they will have to try and contain City. I think the home side will win but in a very tight game and goals are sure to be under for me. The statisics all show high goals in this group but this game for me looks likely to buck the trend. As its been such a high scoring group the line is 3 here which is even better.
