Man City effectively ended the tie in Ukraine with a 3-1 win over Kiev. They dominated for long periods and with the three away goals are long odds on to progress. City have been poor in EPL this season and the ill timed news of the end of Pelligrini while he is still in a job seems to have effected the side. Since the win in Kiev they have won 1, drawn 2 and lost 1. Although they did secure the Capital One Cup in that period. City are without Nasri, de Bruyne and Tasende. Kiev must make one of the comebacks of the competition to qualify and its not likely for me. They have won 2 and drew one in the break since 1st leg. They are without Junior, Morozyuk, Myakushko, Petrovic, Rybka and Rybalka for this leg.
City are through and nothing Kiev can do will be good enough here. The fact they have to push on will leave gaps City will exploit. Manchester City have been decent in Europe this year, they seem more suited to that than EPL for sure. I take them to comfortably win through with a 1st half lead and them complete the win.
