Plzen and CSKA play for third place and a Europa slot. Plzen need a big win to do it, and after losing all five games so far, it would seem to be wishful thinking on them doing it. They only lost 3-2 in Moscow in the reverse fixture, but the scoreline probably flattered them there. CSKA have been disappointing, even allowing for this being a tough group. The win in Plzen are the only points they have, and currently only fifth in the Russian Premier league, things are not great for them. On a brighter note star midfielder Alain Dzagoev should return to European action following injury.
