The opening game for both sides in Copa America Group A. Chile have already recorded a win over Ecuador so either side taking a win here could almost put 1 foot in the finals. Given that two third placed teams can also qualify there is a chance for most teams to reach the quarters. Mexico arrive in Chile with a “reserve” side, choosing to hold back the big guns for the Gold Cup. Having said that they do still have a quality outfit and should have too much for Bolivia here. Mexico will stick with the troubled 5-3-2 that the coach prefers. However judging by the players in the last couple of games they seem a bit miffed by the formation.  Bolivia have not made it out of the opening round of a Copa America since reaching the final in 1997.  Indeed, Bolivia have not won a single match outside their home country since beating South Africa in a friendly in March 2007. And their preparations for the tournament have hardly been ideal, losing 5-0 to Argentina on Saturday. They have promised to be a bit more expansive and this could actually be their undoing.
