Brazil won in the fashion predicted in their last FIFA Confederations Cup game. They were simply much better than Japan! Mexico were OK against Italy and perhaps deserved a point. They'll be looking at the positives from that game going into this one, which is a must win for them in relation to this tournament.
Brazil is playing on home soil, and allthough the country is experiencing social unrest at the minute the support for the team will be solid! Scolari has so much quality at his disposal, but I doubt he'll tinker too much with the side that wore down Japan. Mexico shouldn't change too much around either.
This game will be all about Brazil attacking in wave after wave! Mexico will have to defend. Against lesser sides they have been able to hold the 0 on many occasions, but as we saw against Italy; once the going gets tough Mexico can let in goals too. Against this offensive machine that is Brazil I doubt there will be many happy moments for Mexico. Clear Home win shout! Probably a good game to use as a banker in an accumulator system!
BET365 offers 1.36 (4/11) for Brazil on the 1X2. I think it is more than acceptable given the circumstances. Those willing to gamle slightly more can consider Brazil -2 at 3.50 (5/2). I don't really see how this Mexico side can have more to offer than the current crop of Japanese players.
