San Lorenzo of Argentina host surprise package Bolivar of Bolivia in semifinal of Libertadores. San Lorenzo so far have won 4, drew 3 and lost 3. They have had a very tough run to this stage having beaten three Brazilian sides in Botafogo, Gremio and Cruzeiro. At home this year they have been a very tough nut indeed. Four wins and 1 draw so far this Libertadores with 7 goals scored and just 1 conceded.  Bolivar like most teams from Bolivia rely upon the immense advantage of high altitude. Not many Bolivian teams progress in this competition as collectively they are generally useless away from home. Bolivar have done ok on the road this year, winning 1, drawing 3 and losing 1. They have had a pretty easy run to this stage though. Eliminating Leon and Lanus in knockout stages.  This is a tricky game for San Lorenzo as their usual 1-0 home win wont do here. With Bolivar’s home ground the Hernando Silas a ridiculous 12,000 feet above sea level altitude can destroy teams. San Lorenzo will need a few goals for sure to take to Bolivia.
