The two neighbours clash in this Group F match up between Austria and Hungary. Austria qualified top of the pile, beating Russia, Sweden and Montenegro among others. In recent friendlies they have had a mixed bag with wins over Albania and Malta but losses to Turkey, Switzerland and Netherlands. A full squad for Austria, a team I fancy to go well here. Hungary finished 3rd in their group behind Northern Ireland and Romania. They qualified with a 2 legged win over Norway, winning both legs. Recent friendlies for them has seen draws with Croatia and Ivory Coast but a loss to Germany. Keeper Adam Bogdan is injured and will not feature. In head to heads between these sides we have seen 3 wins for Austria and 8 for Hungary with 5 draws.
Although mixed form for Austria they will not be overly concerned with friendly losses. Hungary are here but finished behind Romania and N.Ireland, both of whom have lost already in Euro 2016. I don’t think they will get much joy out of Portugal or Austria here. I take Austria at 1.75 or 3-4 to win.
