Poland takes on Portugal in the first quarterfinal game of the Euro 16 competition.  Poland beat Switzerland on penalties in the last round to reach this stage. Form me they were the better side and in control of the match until a bit of left field magic from Shaqiri with the goal of the competition so far took the game to extra time. Poland have two wins and two draws from four games with the Shaqiri wonder goal the only one they have conceded so far. However on the negative side they have only scored 3 goals in 4 games. They have beaten Northern Ireland and Ukraine 1-0 with a 0-0 draw with Germany also. Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is still not fully fit but Lukasz Fabianski has been top drawer. Portugal have had a very strange competition so far. They have drawn all four matches! 1-1 with Iceland in a game they were on top for long periods but could not convert chances. A 0-0 with Austria they was tight, but again will be rememebered for dozens of squandered chances and a missed Ronaldo penalty. Final group game was a memorable 3-3 draw with Hungary that saw Portugal behind three times in the game. Last match was a 0-0 at 90 minutes with Croatia. The game was settled in injury time with a finely crafted goal that saw the Portuguese through. No injury or suspension worries for Portugal.

Poland defend really well and keep it tight in defence and midfield. They attack quickly and in numbers but do not ove

r commit themselves. Portugal have quality in all attacking areas but do no seem very cohesive to me. Ronaldo spends more time flinging his arms in the air or looking at himself on the big screens. This will be very tight match and maybe 1 goal will be enough.  The Poland +0.25 at 21-20 or 2,05 looks the best option for me.
