Ukraine acquitted themselves well against Germany and looked dangerous at times. A 2-0 loss was probably about right for the results and they will hope to take some positives into this game. They have no injury worries here and will more than likely go with the same eleven. Northern Ireland offered very little in their 1-0 loss to Poland.  They defended with numbers and had a lone striker who was very isolated up top. If they are to go home without scoring it would be a poor return after such a good qualification. They would like to open a bit I imagine but being in a horrible group they don’t have much choice. Cathcart and Lafferty have made it fit and are available. These sides have met 4 times over the years with 2 Ukraine wins and 2 draws.

I take an easy win for Ukraine here. Northern Ireland may struggle to even grab a goal here such is the high quality in this Group. They don’t have much creation in the team and I don’t see them troubling the scorer here. Ukraine need the win and ideally would like to score a few to boost the goal difference.
