AZ ALKMAAR V ANZHI : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1x2

AZ topped their group with twelve points unbeaten, and disposed of Czech side Slovan Liberec 2-1 over two legs in the last round. In the Dutch League they are a below par seventh, but a couple of recent 4-0 home wins should give them confidence. Crisis club Anzhi qualified in second place from their group, with just eight points, but managed a 2-0 win at Belgian side Genk in the last round to set up this tie. Rooted to the bottom of the Russian Premier league, they did manage their first win of the season after twenty games on Sunday, so they feel things are on the up. Defensive duo Grigalava and Tagirbekov miss out suspended for Anzhi. The sides met two years ago when Anzhi ran out 6-0 winners over two legs, but things have changed very much financially for Anzhi since then.

Anzhi at 5.50(9/2)Bet365 could be worth a 1X2 bet, with AZ no great shakes and incredibly short in the betting for me.
