BASEL V SALZBURG : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1x2

Basel are unbeaten in ten games since losing to Schalke to be eliminated from the Champions league in December. Top of the Swiss league by five points, they comfortably beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last round, 3-0 on aggregate. Home and away victories against Chelsea this season show their ability in Europe, and they also knocked Bulgarian Europa heroes Ludogorets out of the Champions league, in qualifiers earlier in the season. Salzburg managed maximum points in their group, one of only two teams to achieve the feat, and made many sit up and really take notice with a 6-1 destruction of Ajax in the last round. In the Austrian league they are a whopping twenty five points clear, with a goal difference of +65, and have won their last fourteen competitive matches in all competitions, which dates back to November. In Alan and Soriano they have a lethal attacking partnership, with more than 50 goals scored between them in all competitions so far this season. Ivanov(def) and Adili(str) are sure to be out for Basel, with Schar(def) and Streller(str) doubts. Ulmer(def) is the only definite miss for Salzburg.
