Fiorentina won 2-1 away in the first leg of this Europa League qualification match up. They fielded a very strong eleven in the first leg and are likely to do so again. At least the selected rooster looks really good. In midfield Ambrosini has a sore throat (doubtful), and it is expected Pizarro and Cuadrado are rested. I doubt many Viola stars will be rested as they won their domestic season opener 2-1 against Catania in the weekend but have no Serie A fixtures in the coming midweek.

Grashoppers beat Young Boys 2-1 away this weekend, so they’ll be going into this very important tie full of confidence. The side is very young with a handful of players going through Swiss Youth level international football, but is anchored in Swiss veteran defender Grichting. It’s a good side, and Fiorentina can’t take anything for granted. Edit: Grashoppers will have to do without Hajrovic who took a knock against YB. That is a massive loss, as he has been very good so far this season.
