GENK V ANZHI : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP qualify

The two sides played out a 0-0 draw in Russia, and we must get a winner from this second leg meeting in Belgium. Genk topped their group with four wins and two draws, and sit sixth in the Belgian league. Eight defeats in the last ten league games meant the end for coach Mario Been, and Mario Ferreira taking over. Genk are the only Belgian side still in European competition, which says a lot about how weak the Belgian league is at present really. Anzhi have lost all their big name players after the rich owner pulled the plug on finances, and they will resume in the Russian league following the winter break at the foot of the table. They have yet to win in the league after nineteen matches, though did manage two wins in the group stages of this competition to reach the knockout stages. The better side in the first leg, Anzhi will be without the suspended Maksimov who was sent off late on in last weeks match.

Anzhi to qualify at 2.62(13/8)PaddyPower could be a good bet. Two sides hard to recommend in all honesty, but after a 0-0 first leg the away goal could be key, and will give Anzhi an advantage if they can get it.
