KR - GLENTORAN: PREDICTIONS

Europa League continues with another intriguing matchup. KR of Iceland face up to Northern Irish Glentoran.

KR of Reykjavik in Iceland is the oldest club in the country, having been formed in 1899. The side has won the league championship 25 times. After a 10 year gap without a title in a barren period they finally reclaimed the title in 2011. The current league season is only 9 games old but KR top the table with 8 wins and 1 draw. In European competition the KR-ingar have not had much success, in 56 games they have won 11 matches, drawn 12 and lost 33 times. They have gotten to the 3^rd round twice but generally KR do not tend to progress. These sides both met in 2010 and KR ran out 5-2 winners.

Glentoran of Northern Ireland predate their Icelandic rivals with a formation in 1882. Glentoran have won Northern Ireland premier league 23 times, more recently in 2009. They have not played since the end of April so will be pretty rusty. As the side are only semi-professional they do tend to struggle badly in European competition. In 92 matches they have only managed a pitiful 9 wins and 20 draws. Losing a huge amount of matches, 63 in total.

KR - GLENTORAN: BETTING TIPS

A straight forward for the home side who will go into the game with a far superior level of fitness. The Irish side do not travel well at all and have only managed 3 wins away from Ireland in their entire history.
