LAZIO V TOTTENHAM PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Lazio are 5^th in Serie A currently with 23 points from 13 matches, winning 7, drawing 2 and losing 4.  Their recent form has been poor with just 1 win in 5 however and they are slipping away from the Champions League spots.  In the Europa League things are going much better with 2 wins and 2 draws from their 4 matches which leaves them top of the group. 

Tottenham are having a very inconsistent season and are currently 8^th in the EPL with 17 points from 12 matches.  They are on their worst run of form so far this season with 4 defeats in their last 5 matches in the league and the pressure is mounting on manager Andre Villas-Boas.  In the Europa League they are second in the group with 6 points from 4 games and need one more win to see them through to the knockout stages.

Lazio are favourites as the home side here and that seems fair when you look at their home record of 4 wins in their last 5.  Tottenham have a point to prove though and AVB has stated many times he wants to win this competition.
