Liverpool host Borussia Dortmund in the 2^nd leg at Anfield with the tie poised at 1-1. The 1^st leg was a strange affair with Dortmund on top for long periods but Liverpool having many chances. Only Bayern Munich all season have had as many shots on target in a game than Liverpool had. Indeed Divick Origi could have easily killed the tie off if head converted a clear cut chance. As it is Liverpool have a vital away goal but the scoring should continue at Anfield. Dortmund rested 8 first team players in the weekend Bundesliga but Liverpool did something similar at home to Stoke so we should have some well rested players on both sides.   Liverpool will miss Flanagan, Benteke, Gomez, Henderson and Ings but only Henderson has played recently. Dortmund are without Subotic for this one.

Dortmund were not as potent in the 1^st leg and although they did have chances for me the gap in overall quality was minimal. With a full strength 1^st eleven and a roaring Kop I feel Liverpool will take this and upset the odds. We get 2.00 or Evens on Liverpool to qualify.
